Hello!

About Ashley

I'm endlessly curious about people, transformation, and what allows us to create lives that feel deeply authentic.

For more than thirty years, I've studied human behavior from many different perspectives — as a journalist, marketing strategist, communications professional, life coach, student of personal growth, and creative writer.

I don't believe meaningful change comes from trying to become someone else.

I believe it comes from connecting more deeply to your truest self—and then intentionally creating a life that reflects that connection.

That belief shapes everything I write, teach, coach, and create.

My Professional Journey

For more than two decades, I worked in Atlanta, GA, in public relations, marketing, branding, communications, and business strategy, helping organizations clarify their message, build meaningful relationships, and communicate ideas that inspire action.

Throughout my career, I worked for Fortune 100 companies, technology startups, law firms, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, schools, and community organizations. My work included public relations, strategic marketing, branding, content development, media relations, business development, executive communications, event leadership, fundraising, digital communications, and team leadership.

In recent years, I've also completed advanced certificates in AI/Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship, expanding my understanding of how businesses grow and connect in the age of AI.

Looking back, I realize I wasn't just building brands.

I was learning how stories shape the way people see themselves — and how changing the story can change a life.

My Coaching Philosophy

After experiencing profound transitions in my own life, I decided to formally study coaching.

I completed the iPEC Coach Training Program in 2025 and became an ICF-certified life coach in 2026. My coaching combines deep listening and strategic thinking, helping women navigate complex life transitions such as difficult divorces with greater clarity, courage, emotional awareness, and intention.

In 2026, I completed the Hoffman Process, an experience that profoundly influenced both my personal life and my coaching. Today, I describe myself as a Hoffman Process-informed coach. The work deepened my understanding of self-awareness, emotional expression, self-compassion, and the importance of connecting deeply to our truest selves.

While my approach has been shaped by many teachers, books, experiences, and years of personal growth, my coaching ultimately reflects my own philosophy and lived experience.

Why I Write Fiction

I've loved stories for as long as I can remember.

The stories I'm drawn to are about the deeper forces that shape our lives—identity, conditioning, emotional expression, consciousness, freedom, creativity, and what becomes possible when we deeply connect — and stay connected — to our truest selves. My novel explores how one woman cracks the code, confronting deep truths about herself and the patterns and roles she has fallen into over the course of her adult life, and the amazing changes we witness as her story unfolds.

I love the creative process of writing fiction — from brainstorming and story structure to outlining, character development, and crafting scenes that bring a story to life. I also write because I hope to create stories that touch readers' hearts while expanding their minds. The fiction that stays with me both entertains and changes the way I understand myself and the world. That's the kind of work I aspire to create: emotionally rich stories that invite readers to ask deeper questions and come away with a new way of thinking, being, and living.

Life Beyond Work

Today I live in Asheville, North Carolina, where I've intentionally created a life that keeps me deeply connected to my truest self.

You'll find me lifting heavy weights, mountain biking, hiking and exploring Western North Carolina, cooking healthy meals, salsa dancing, gardening, writing, reading, spending time with friends and family, and always, always, always learning something new!

I have found alignment and happiness through the choices I make and the habits I have cultivated and live out every day.

Not just filling roles, not just living stuck in patterns. Not perfection. Not performance.

But the daily practice of living in greater alignment with who I am, at my heart center.

I'm grateful you're here, and I hope something you find on this website encourages you to connect more deeply to your truest self and create a life you genuinely love.
